Mr. Stephan, Me and Pokie (my buddy)

11st January (Friday) is the National Children’s Day in Thailand. There were no learning activities, but I kept going to the school because the school held an event for the students. I don’t want to miss any moment. For me, this is a good moment where I can know more about the cultures and gain more experience.

My buddy (Pokie) accompanied me to the school because she was free at the time. We went to the school early in the morning and got there at around 7.40. Once I arrived, I saw all students already gathering in the field. Some of them wore various unique clothes while others still wore school uniforms. I also saw some parents sitting on the seats on the right and the front side.

At first, I didn’t know what they were going to do. I saw many gifts in the front and I thought that they would hold a competition. However, I didn’t see any signs that they would do it. In fact, the students performed dancing. I was so amazed when I saw the students performing the modern dance. In their young age, they can do attractions that are supposed to be done by adults. It was so wonderful. I couldn’t even do such attractions. They are so talented. After the group performed their dance, each of them directly got gifts given by the director. In my country, we don’t have this kind of activity, but I hope there will be.

Below is the video of children's performances tha I took. Please enjoy!
